The firm defends and advises clients in criminal proceedings, including bail applications, trial, revision and sentence appeals, before the subordinate courts and the High Court, as well as at the Court of Appeal and Federal Court level.
The firm acts for employees and employers in industrial relations and employment disputes, including unfair and constructive dismissal claims, disciplinary matters and trade disputes under the Industrial Relations Act 1967, before the Industrial Court and the Labour Court, together with related judicial review, revisionary and appellate work.
We represent companies, directors and shareholders in company and commercial disputes, including shareholder and board conflicts, contractual and commercial claims, insolvency-related proceedings, and related High Court applications and appeals up to the Court of Appeal and Federal Court.
The firm assists clients with grants of probate and letters of administration, estate administration, caveats and related High Court applications, and disputes over wills and the distribution of estates.
The firm advises businesses and individuals on commercial and contractual matters, from the preparation and review of commercial agreements to the resolution of disputes arising from them. Where a dispute arises, we pursue resolution through negotiation, mediation or arbitration, with litigation before the courts as the final avenue where required.
